According to family sources, Firdousa was pregnant, expecting baby next month.

Earlier around 20 people were injured in thrashing by soldiers at Trichal village in the same district in the intervening night of Thursday and Friday.

The soldiers traveling in a Casper had run over an IED planted by militants under a bridge at Trichal. The blast that shook the area over a radius of over 5 kms was followed by fierce exchange of firing between militants and soldiers. At least seven soldiers were injured in the incident with militants making their escape good.
